If you want to upgrade from MCSE 2003 to MCITP Enterprise admin then you need 70-649 and a client OS (70-620 or 70-680)

If you want to upgrade from MCSE 2003 to MCITP Server Admin then you only need 70-649.

By taking the 70-649 course you upgrade to all the MCTS for SErver 2008. Then you only need to take the PRO exam for

Server Admin (70-646) or the PRO exam for Enterprise Admin (70-647) and you are done. The Enterprise Admin requires a

Client OS of 70-620 or 680 if you havent taken one of them already.

To upgrade from MCSA to MCTIP on WIndows Server 2008 you need to take 70-648
